Contents of this packing includes:
* GMP-Adventure.xml
* GMP-Entity.xml
* GMP.xsl

GMP stands for Game Master Pack.

To use this with Universal Character Vault (UCV), open UCV. Then follow the following directions:

1. Go to the File menu and select "Add/Remove Game System Data..."
2. From the popup window, click the Add Game System button.
3. From the Open window, navigate to the GMP-Adventure.xml file included with this pack.

Next you will want to import a style sheet. These are used to view your work. The default style sheet is the GMP.xsl document. The following directions show how to import this sheet.

1. Go to the File menu and select "Add/Remove Stylesheet..."
2. From the popup window, click the Add Style Sheet button.
3. From the Open window, select the GMP.xsl file included with this pack.
4. From the Select Game System popup menu, select GMP-Adventure.
5. Enter a name for this style sheet, such as "GMPAdventure".
6. Repeat the above steps to add the GMP style sheet to GMP-Entity.

GMP ADVENTURE
GMP-Adventure can be used as a framework on which to hang your adventure. Create a new entry and give your adventure a name and campaign, just as you would for a new character. Then double-click in the list box to begin editing. At first, there are just two things to enter: a synopsis of your adventure and a "Feature". You can add as many features as you like and organize them as you wish. Features can be used to hold extra information such as what level of PCs your adventure is designed to accommodate, or notes as to where you left off in the adventure when you last played. Since Feature entries can also be edited in View mode, you might find it handy to name one of your features "Last Stopping Point" or something similar. You can then make a note when running the game so you know where to pick up again.

Use the Journals to create your adventure framework, or even fully detailed scenes if you wish. Since you can create as many journals as you wish, you can add and remove scenes or other elements of your adventure at will.

Since you can store Images with your Adventure, you have the opportunity to store all your floor plans, illustrations and game maps right in one location. You can always bring up the Images window to view what you have while UCV resizes it automatically to suit your needs.

GMP ENTITY
GMP-Entity can be used to construct and store various game elements important to your campaign. You can use it to store information about your organizations, towns, guilds, kingdoms, anything that is an important part of your story.

Use the Description field to provide a brief not on what sort of entity this is.

Features describe different aspects of your organizations. You can briefly profile goals, leaders, properties, and resources here. Use the Add Entry drop-down button to add as many features as you wish.

Quick Notes are handy places to story bits of information. For example, if your Entity describes a pirate ship, you might note battle damage, casualties, and other temporary conditions here. Quick Notes can be edited also in the View window.

THE GAME MASTER PACK STYLESHEET
Now that you have added a stylesheet as above and have made GM entity or adventure entries, you can view your handiwork. Especially useful for when you are running a game, the View window can be brought up any time using ctrl-4 on Windows or cmd-4 on a Mac. Click the Styles icon to see a menu of Generic and GMP style sheets. Choose whichever one you want to use. You can click the Journals icon if you want to also display your journal entries.

ORGANIZING YOUR CAMPAIGN
This is extremely simple. When you create your characters, adventures and entities, you can specify the same campaign name. Then you can use the Universal Character Vault filter feature to feature by campaign. You can also click the heading of any of the four columns in order to alphabetize your filtered list from A-Z or Z-A.
